About this Quilt

Hand block printed by artisans and stitched using the Kantha stitch.The most beautiful quilt /coverlet that instantly helps refurbish any room .Use it as a quilt , it is made by stitching two layers of fabric together or put it over your doona for extra warmth or layer it on the foot of your bed for a more minimalistic look.

How We Crafted the Coastal Indigo Patchwork Bundle – One Stitch at a Time

Cotton Fabric 

For over 12 years, we’ve used the same ethically sourced, heirloom-quality cotton as the foundation of our Kantha quilts. Celebrated for its softness and strength, this fabric is the perfect base for traditional hand block printing and intricate Kantha stitching — honouring age-old techniques with luxurious comfort.

Indigo Dyes 

Our mud block printed textiles are dyed in a traditional indigo vat — an age-old, organic process mastered by skilled artisans. The result is a deep, soulful blue that’s rich in heritage and kind to the earth.

Mud Block Printing 

Mud block printing is a traditional, chemical-free technique that utilises a resist paste composed of clay and hay. This fully organic process creates beautifully patterned textiles with minimal environmental impact.

Kantha Hand Stitching

Each quilt is hand-stitched using the traditional Kantha technique by women artisans in Rajasthan, India — a slow, soulful craft that adds texture, story, and heritage to every piece.
