Hand-stitched using the Kantha stitch. it is made by Kantha stitching two layers of fabric together. There is no cotton padding in between.

The most beautiful quilt /coverlet that instantly helps refurbish any room . Use it as a quilt,  or put it over your doona for extra warmth or layer it on the foot of your bed for a minimalistic look.

This product can be washed in the washing machine on a gentle cold cycle.Wash Separately . No bleach or bleach additives . Line dry in shade .


What is a Kantha Stitch :
Kantha stitching is a hand stitch popular in India. The stitches are not generally knotted at each end, this may result in a few loose ends
poking out throughout the quilt. This is not a fault, it adds to the charm and uniqueness of each and every quilt.

If your order includes an item on preorder, your full order will be held until the preordered item is ready to ship. We are happy to split orders upon request. There may be a seperate shipping fee though

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Yes  for sure , you can return or exchange if you wish .The items needs to unopened / unused /unaltered  / unwashed and should be posted back to us at your cost within 30 days of the order date.There may a restocking fee applied on returns when purchased in a sale /discounted .Please contact us at priya@peacocksandpaisleys.com.au

    Beautiful!

    This is my third order from peacock and paisley and my second kantha quilt. They are so beautiful! The colours on this Frida quilt are even nicer than shown on the website as they are not quite as fluro. The quality is wonderful and the print is detailed and authentic. I’m going to order a fourth - I’m addicted!

    Thanks for letting us know. Kantha quilts are made by pairing two sheets of fabric together and hand stitching in a running stitch . There is no cotton padding in between .We do mention this on our website / product listing as well .We offer a 30 day returns policy for unused products ,If you are not satisfied with the product , you can return it back .
